  What is infertility? According to the clinical definition of world health organization, Infertility is a reproductive system’s disease in which a couple fails to achieve pregnancy after 12 months or more of unprotected regular sexual intercourse. In simple words, the meaning of infertility is the inability to get pregnant after a year-long unprotected sexual intercourse. Types of Infertility Infertility is broadly categorized into two types; primary and secondary. Primary Infertility is a condition in which a female is unable to conceive or unable to carry her pregnancy towards a live birth, or goes through immediate miscarriage or birth of a stillborn child. Secondary infertility, on the other hand, is a disorder in which a female with previous ability to become a parent for at least once has now achieved the state of infertility, due to any reason.
